IP Technologies

This group is developing cutting edge IP technologies that are condensed into carrier class scalable systems that manage multi gigabit speed streams for NTT Communications, NTT MCL's parent company, which is one of the biggest ISPs in Japan.

Other Key technologies that have been or are currently being developed in the IP Technologies Group are IPv6, IP routing technologies and security technologies, which enhance ISP's services and protect end users and ISPs' systems.

NTT MCL started the very first IPv6 commercial IX/ISP in the US in 2000.
